Medicare Plans

Understanding Medicare doesn't have to be overwhelming.

Whether you're turning 65 or already enrolled, we'll help you compare every option — clearly, honestly, and at no cost to you.

What is Medicare?

Medicare is the federal health insurance program for people 65 and older, as well as certain younger individuals with disabilities. It's made up of several parts, each covering different types of care — and choosing the right combination can make a significant difference in your coverage and costs.

As an independent advisor, we don't work for any insurance company. We work for you — helping you understand your options and find the plan that fits your health needs and budget.

Independent & unbiased

We're not captive agents. We compare plans across multiple carriers to find what genuinely fits your needs — not what pays us the most.

Breaking it down

The parts of Medicare, explained simply

Part A

Hospital Insurance

Covers inpatient hospital stays, skilled nursing facility care, hospice, and some home health services. Most people don't pay a premium for Part A if they or their spouse paid Medicare taxes while working.

Part B

Medical Insurance

Covers doctor visits, outpatient care, preventive services, and medically necessary services. Part B has a monthly premium, and most people pay the standard amount set by Medicare each year.

Part C

Medicare Advantage

An all-in-one alternative to Original Medicare offered by private insurers. Most plans include Part A, Part B, and often Part D drug coverage — plus extras like dental, vision, and hearing. Plans vary by location.

Part D

Prescription Drug Coverage

Adds prescription drug coverage to Original Medicare (Parts A & B). Offered through private insurers, plans vary in which drugs they cover and what you pay. Choosing the right Part D plan can save you significantly.

Supplement coverage

What about Medigap?

Medigap (Medicare Supplement Insurance) is sold by private companies to help pay some of the costs that Original Medicare doesn't cover — like copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. If you choose Original Medicare rather than a Medicare Advantage plan, a Medigap policy can give you more predictable out-of-pocket costs.

💡 Medigap plans are standardized — Plan G in one company covers the same benefits as Plan G in another. What differs is the premium. We help you compare premiums across carriers so you're not overpaying.
